Single Handed Reefing & Lazy Jacks

This presentation from Chris shows how to setup a trailer sailer to be easily reefed single handed. It also describes how to go about setting up a Lazy Jack system for your main.

Line through block on mast up to a return block on the sail luff then through a saddle on
mast, line then goes through another turning block to the snubbing winch then jambcleat

This shows the green reef line pulled down in the reef position, the line after passing through the block at the reef point is then run down through a saddle on the mast, this saddle is positioned so that the pull on the reef line is forward and keeps the sail close per to the mast, the line then goes down to a turning block and the to a clutch on the cabin top.
